First Wave Attenuator in Gulf

EcoSystems Wave Attenuator test units were installed in July, 2008 and as per agreement with the state were removed in July, 2009. They were an overwhelming success. four hurricane events hit the Gulf of Mexico in 2008. all caused very high surf, one event broke 19 - 2.5' x 2.5' pilings on the new pier, causing over $3M in damages. The EcoSystems units were undamaged and preforming well. It proved EcoSystems will preform in the worst of surf conditions without moving, breaking, leaning or turning over. Its also a great testament to Pearson piling. Now that this test is complete we are ready to move forward to a larger scale project.
